Top down baby sweaters

I am enjoying making these top down baby sweaters as they need such a little sewing up, just a few stitches under the arms. Having tried a few different free patterns available on the net I am gradually changing the patterns to my liking. Next time I need to do something about the neck.

Pattern - Top down baby cardigan
Yarn - Moda Vera, Noir 75% wool and light blue baby wool for the garter ridges
For - C's friend
Notes : blue in the ridges brings out the blue in the main yarn, more noticeable in life. After sleeve line, increases made in body at 3 levels as I prefer it to flare out slightly.

Pattern - Top down baby cardigan
Yarn - Bella baby Honey 4ply
For - sold to MA
Notes: I don't mind the straight look of the body in this yarn but next time must taper the sleeves slightly.

Pattern - Top down baby cardigan
Yarn - Patons Big baby
For -
Note: yarn slightly thinner than the pink one - might look better knitted o smaller needles, neck looks too loose. Needs steaming - should improve the look.

It's been a long time

since I posted anything but I have not been lazy. I have continued to add to my ufo's and have actually finished a few items as well, mostly knitting.

Baby jumper and cap

Pattern - Patons book 951
Yarn - Bluebell
Simple and easy knit.

Mens Toque

Pattern - Swell His Toque
Yarn - Lincraft Zambezee
An enjoyable pattern although next time I will do the swells a few rows lower.

Lace Edge hat

Pattern - Lace-Edged Women's Hat by Julie Hentz
Yarn - Lincraft Zambezee
Very pretty lace edge, worth knitting again.
